Coding Rules
- All code must be written from scratch.
- Only syntax/library references are allowed; no templates or pre-written code.
- Follow all IOI rules and standards.
- Use of generative AI is strictly prohibited.
Eligibility & Teams
- Teams consist of individual participants or small groups as specified by competition rules.
- Participants must be residents of Algeria or meet specific eligibility criteria.
- Age limits: Under 20 years old, and not under 13 years old at the time of competition.
- Must be enrolled in middle or high school during the competition period.
- Previous competition participation restrictions may apply; check specific competition guidelines.
Contest Format
- Multiple qualifying rounds leading to national finals.
- National finals held in designated locations with both online and on-site participation options.
- Qualifiers typically last 3-5 hours; international contests follow IOI format (5 hours per day, 2 days).
- Results are announced after each round, with final rankings published after the competition concludes.
Enforcement & Conduct
- Violations may result in penalties including lifetime ban from AOI competitions.
- Sharing competition problems, solutions, or any contest-related information during the competition is strictly prohibited.
- Each participant may use only one account; creating multiple accounts or using malicious code is forbidden.
